Founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has reacted to comments made about his wife, Florence Obinim, following her activity on social media.
According to Bishop Obinim, a young man recently made a video advising Florence Obinim to stay off social media for her own good.
He noted that he had personally given his wife the same advice, but she chose not to follow it.
Speaking during a preaching session in his church, Bishop Obinim revealed that a woman also made a comment about Florence Obinim and her marriage, which did not sit well with him.
The comment reportedly read: “Herrh Florence Obinim paa ni what marriage can turn you into.”
Reacting to the remark, Bishop Obinim said he would not insult the woman who made the comment but issued a stern warning.
“I won’t say anything bad about you,” he said, referring to the woman. “But if I am a devil, then the devil has power. And if I am a man of God and a pastor, then I also have power. We will meet under the cocoa tree. I have spoken to you in parables.”
The outspoken preacher further stressed that his marriage should be kept out of public commentary.
“I am stating it here: when my issue comes, you can talk about it. When Florence’s issues come, you can also talk about it, but take my marriage out of it,” he said.
Bishop Obinim added that all controversies he has faced in Ghana have been personal and not related to his wife.
“All the issues I had in Ghana were about me. So if today Florence also has issues, talk about it and leave my marriage out of it,” he concluded.
