Ghanaian musician King Paluta has addressed the recent controversy surrounding his comments while performing abroad, insisting that he has no intention of issuing an apology.
In an interview with ZionFelix, the artiste said,
“If the lady doesn’t apologize to me, I won’t also apologize to anyone.”
He went on to clarify his stance, stating,
“But please, I want to channel it and be like I’ve insulted Ghanaians and my fans. I haven’t insulted my fans.”
The controversy arose during one of his performances outside Ghana when he reportedly reacted to remarks made about him by someone in attendance.
Many social media users called for an apology to Ghanaians, but King Paluta questioned the rationale behind the demands.
“People claim I should apologize to Ghanaians. How?” he asked.
