Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has commissioned two smart classroom projects aimed at advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in his constituency.

The initiative was launched in partnership with the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Tong Defa, whose embassy supported the impactful collaboration.

The newly inaugurated smart classrooms are equipped with full connectivity, smart boards, solar panels, tablets, and curriculum‑aligned educational content.
The facilities will serve two senior high schools in the area: BASEC and ABAST.

According to Mr. Ablakwa, the partnership provided the STEM equipment and solar panels, while his office handled the infrastructure development.

The project is expected to enhance learning opportunities and technological access for students in North Tongu, fostering greater interest and performance in STEM subjects.
