Ghanaian fashion influencer, Osebo, has narrated a shocking incident in which the houseboy of his godfather allegedly stole $100,000 from their residence.
According to Osebo, the suspect described as a father of two, had been living with his godfather, who was reportedly sponsoring the education of the man’s children and supporting his wife to acquire sewing skills.
“My godfather took in a houseboy who was a father of two. He enrolled the two boys in school and funded the wife to learn sewing,” Osebo disclosed.
He explained that the incident occurred shortly after his godfather sold a vehicle in the evening.
He noted that because the payment was made around 5 p.m., when banks were already closed, the cash was temporarily kept at home.
Osebo said his godfather, who had a habit of taking evening walks, left the money in the house due to the trust he had in the houseboy.
“My godfather likes taking walks. He sold his car and was paid around 5 p.m., so he couldn’t go to the bank. Because of the trust he had for the houseboy, he left the money in the house and went for a walk,” he recounted.
However, upon returning a few hours later, the cash had allegedly been taken.
“When he came back from the walk, the houseboy had stolen the money worth $100,000,” Osebo claimed.
Using the incident as a moral lesson, the fashion influencer stressed the importance of honesty and integrity.
“You should not take money that does not belong to you because you do not know how they got it,” he cautioned.
