Founder and Leader of New Life Kingdom Chapel, Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah, popularly known as Jesus Ahoufe, has claimed that the government of President John Dramani Mahama is facing a spiritual attack.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Ohemaa Woyeje, the outspoken preacher said he received a vision in 2025 concerning the President, which he believes signals an impending attempt to disgrace him.
According to the Bishop, he saw “a hole covered with dry cocoa leaves” set as a trap for President Mahama, warning that the Head of State could face embarrassment if he “falls into it.”
Jesus Ahoufe further claimed he had earlier prophesied a drop in cocoa prices, stating that he foresaw a reduction to GH₵2,500 per bag.
He added that there are ongoing spiritual activities targeted at the government and stressed the need for religious leaders to rise in its defence.
The preacher, therefore, called on Ghanaians to intensify prayers for the country and support the national day of fasting and prayer declared by the President.
“I am happy President Mahama has dedicated a day for national fasting and prayer, but we must intensify our prayers for the love of the country,” he said.
