Award-winning gospel musician, Celestine Donkor, has asserted that her name deserves to be mentioned whenever discussions about the top ten artistes in Ghana come up.
Speaking in an interview, the celebrated singer said leaving her out of such a list would not reflect her contribution and longevity in the music industry.
“We can’t talk about the top ten artistes in Ghana without me. It will be very unfair to me,” she stated.
According to Celestine Donkor, her confidence is rooted not only in her popularity but also in her impact and consistency over two decades in gospel music.
“I think to be in this industry for 20 years and still be relevant is a great blessing and it’s not just being famous — it’s about the impact. People are still getting blessed, people still want the songs I released, people still want to praise and worship with it,” she added.
