The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, in collaboration with the Ghana High Commission in Lusaka, Zambia, and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, is hosting a Fugu and Kente Exhibition from March 6–8, 2026, at the Lusaka Showgrounds in Zambia.
The event, themed “Promoting Pan-Africanism and African unity through the African personality,” showcases Ghanaian Fugu and Kente textiles, celebrating cultural diplomacy and economic cooperation between Ghana and Zambia.
Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa praised the exhibition, stating “it is not only great for economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and Pan-Africanism; it is absolutely fantastic for Ghana-Zambia relations.”
The exhibition aims to boost African unity, strengthen bilateral relations, and promote African cultural identity through traditional textiles.
