President John Dramani Mahama will present his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) to Parliament today, Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The event will be attended by Members of Parliament, Ministers of State, members of the diplomatic corps, and specially invited guests.
President Mahama’s address is expected to highlight developments over the past year and reflect on the progress made under his leadership.
The State of the Nation Address is an annual constitutional obligation under Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
It provides the President with the opportunity to update Parliament and the nation on the economic, social, and financial state of the country.
