America-based Ghanaian media personality, Kevin Taylor, has fulfilled his promise to purchase a car for broadcaster, Nana Yaa Brefo, bringing closure to a social media controversy that trended for days.
The development comes after Nana Yaa Brefo confirmed in a video she shared on social media that, she now works as an Uber driver in the United States.
She added that the car she was using was old but she needed to use it for the job to make a living.
Kevin Taylor later promised buy her a car that is more appropriate for use as Uber.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Nana Yaa Brefo expressed appreciation after receiving the vehicle, stating that Kevin Taylor had honoured his word.
“He fulfilled his promise. Thanks so much, Kevin,” the post read.
The gesture quickly generated reactions from social media users, many of whom interpreted it as a sign of reconciliation and personal growth.
Some commenters described the moment as “maturity at its best” and noted that “your worst enemy could be your best friend.”
Others praised both media personalities for their conduct, stating, “Nana and Kevin, you two have exhibited true maturity, humility and respect. Him giving you a car after some past events is not to spite you or show superiority, and you, Nana Yaa Brefo, accepting the car does not mean you are in a dire situation or cannot do without his help. This is a brother-and-sister relationship.”
