Ghana’s embassy in Doha, Qatar, has urged all Ghanaian nationals residing in the country who have not yet registered with the mission to do so immediately with their details.
The Embassy explained that this move forms part of ongoing emergency preparedness measures amid the heightened tensions and unrest within the Middle East.
In a statement, it said registration will enable officials to effectively communicate with and assist citizens, and, if necessary, coordinate evacuation arrangements in the region.
“All Ghanaians in Qatar, including students, workers, families, and visitors, are required to complete the registration form via the link provided.
“The information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for official emergency and consular purposes,” It stated.
The Embassy assured that it will continue to provide updates through its official communication channels.
