Sixteen people have been reported dead following a fatal head-on collision between an ambulance and a Ford Transit vehicle at Potrikrom in the Ahafo Ano South District.
Reports suggested that the accident occurred on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
A member of the Public Relations Department of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Alex King Nartey, disclosed the incident in a Facebook post.
According to the reportage, the Ford Transit was carrying several passengers at the time of the crash.
He noted that the two vehicles collided, describing the situation as “very disturbing,” with videos and pictures of the aftermath of the accident attached.
