The Municipal Chief (MCE) Executive of the Ga Central, Emmanuel Adottey Allotey, has announced a ₵10,000 reward for any public school student within his jurisdiction who scores an aggregate six in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The promise was made during his speech at the 69th Independence Day celebration held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Ga Central AstroTurf in Antieku.

“I have personally promised to reward candidate from any public school within Ga Central Municipal Assembly who scores aggregate six in this year’s BECE with an amount of ten thousand Ghana Cedis,” he said.

In his address, Mr. Allotey expressed hope that this year’s BECE performance will surpass last year’s results.
