The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has partnered with the Vodza Event Initiative (VEI) Board to launch the 5th Vodza Easter Regatta 2026, scheduled to take place from April 3 to 6, 2026, in Vodza, near Keta in the Volta Region.
This year’s event marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s tourism calendar, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

The Vodza Easter Regatta is part of GTA’s coordinated Easter Celebration Calendar, promoted under the Black Star Experience initiative to drive domestic travel and encourage Ghanaians to explore their country’s heritage, culture, and adventure experiences.

The event is expected to attract residents, tourists, and holidaymakers, creating economic opportunities for locals and promoting cultural identity.

GTA’s Deputy CEO, Mr. Ben Anane Nsiah, emphasized the strategic partnership, stating that it would boost domestic tourism during the Easter festivities.

The event is one of three major Easter activities, alongside the Gomoa Easter Festival and the Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival.
