The Ministry of Interior has cautioned applicants against forged SMS messages falsely demanding payments for the upcoming medical screening, which marks the next phase of the security services recruitment process in April.
In statement issued on Monday, March 23, 2026, the Ministry emphasized that “no SMS notification with regard to the medical screening have been sent to any applicant.”
According to the statement, legitimate notifications will be sent strategically within a specific time frame, as medical screening will commence at designated centres across all regions.
“All SMSs will be sent between 29th and 31st March 2026. Medical screening is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 7th April 2026, at designated centres across all regions.
Applicants are therefore cautioned against falling prey to SMS messages from dubious sources requesting payments for medical screening. All SMS messages will be sent from the sole authorised SMS sender ID, i.e., CSERP,” part of the statement noted.
The Ministry added that qualified applicants for medical screening should note the change in their portal status from “Qualified” to “MEDICAL SCREENING” once official SMS notifications are sent.
The Ministry further entreated applicants to double-check all SMS notifications regarding the medical screening process and reiterated that “they see the change in status before proceeding to make payment via the secure web checkout system on their portal.
