Ghanaian media personality, Sally Mann, has come under public scrutiny following her remarks about dancehall artiste Shatta Wale after his appearance at a recent World Cup fundraising event.
Shatta Wale was seen alongside fellow artiste Stonebwoy at the event, drawing attention from fans and the media. Reacting during a discussion, Sally Mann expressed surprise at the musician’s physique.
“For the first time, I didn’t know Shatta was this cute. I’m not saying his face, but not in a bad way… I like his physique. When he was standing with Stonebwoy, I didn’t know he was this cute,” she stated.
She added in a lighthearted tone that his physique could even influence her willingness to have him as a friend.
However, her comments have since generated mixed reactions online. While some social media users found her remarks amusing, others questioned her sincerity.
One commenter wrote, “If you have money you are cute but if you are broke you are short,” suggesting that perceptions of attractiveness may be influenced by wealth.
Additionally, some fans of Shatta Wale did not agree with Sally Mann’s statement, accusing her of being insincere and “pretending” in her remarks.
