Petty traders in Kasoa in the Central Region have formally petitioned the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry following an eviction notice served to them by stakeholders.

According to the traders, the notice which requires them to vacate their current trading location raises concerns about their livelihoods and the potential loss of income.

The aggrieved traders presented their petition to the ministry on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and urged stakeholders to reconsider their decision.

The Director in Charge of Industries at the Ministry, Kofi Addo, received the petition on behalf of the Minister, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, on Thursday.
