Ghanaian media personality, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, popularly known as Afua Asantewaa Singathon, has opened up about her relationship status, clarifying that she is not divorced but currently separated from her partner.
Speaking during a live session with Prophet Fire Oja, the outspoken musician explained some of the challenges she faces as a vocal partner in relationships.
“If you’re outspoken and your partner is the quiet type, often times you are seen as the one who usually causes problems in the relationship. But they don’t know; those who know, know,” she said.
She further elaborated on how personality dynamics can create misunderstandings in relationships.
“Those of us who are very vocal, most of the time we face such challenges. The slightest thing, they feel you are the loudest, so you are the problem. When you dig into the details, then you’ll know that’s not how it is,” Afua Asantewaa clarified.
Earlier this year, in January 2026, she also addressed circulating rumors about being divorced, reiterating that she was not legally separated from her husband at the time.
