Ghanaian media personality and former Guinness World Record singathon contender, Afua Asantewaa, has sparked widespread discussion on social media after revealing personal challenges in her marriage.
During a recent live session, she shared that despite her husband being a journalist with over 30 years of experience, he has never publicly defended her.
“My partner is a journalist with over 30 years of experience, yet he has never come out to defend me. But during the sing-a-thon, he stood in front of the camera and said he was proud of his wife… I don’t have anybody to talk to, but sometimes you just have to say the truth,” she said.
Her comments have drawn attention online, with many users expressing support for her openness and calling for more conversations about the personal struggles of public figures, while others expressed disappointment in her.
