Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Hohoe United, who recently announced their withdrawal from the ongoing campaign, have explained the reasons behind their decision.
The newly promoted club confirmed their withdrawal on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, describing the move as “difficult.”
In a detailed statement issued on Thursday, April 2, the club cited “systematic unfairness, procedural manipulation and apparent bias” among the factors that compelled their exit.
The management stressed that the “lack of will to compete” was never among their reasons.
