King Promise has stated that awards do not influence his creative process, stressing that he refuses to be pressured into making music to win accolades.
According to the artiste, while he appreciates recognition, his focus remains on making authentic music rather than chasing awards.
“I’m not making music for awards. I cherish the awards but will not be pressured into making music,” he said.
King Promise further asserted his confidence in his craft, adding that he could reclaim top honours if he chose to.
“If I want to become Artiste of the Year again, I would,” he added.
