The police have confirmed the arrest of two suspects related to the robbery attack on Ghana Premier League team Berekum Chelsea.
The incident, which took place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, resulted in the death of Dominic Frimpong, a player for the Blues.
Police immediately launched a manhunt for those responsible.
In a statement, the police announced that two suspects, the gang leader and another individual have been apprehended.
According to the statement, one of the suspects was injured during a shootout with police intelligence officers.
He has been taken to the hospital for medical care and treatment.
