The Exhibition Hall of the National Theatre in Accra came alive with celebration, inspiration, and admiration on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as award-winning radio presenter and disc jockey Harey Adwoa Yeboah Asuama Kusi, popularly known as DJ Ohemaa Woyeje, officially launched her book, ‘Life Beyond Opinions.’
The event attracted an impressive gathering of personalities from the media, entertainment, business, and political sectors, all of whom came together to support and celebrate the accomplished broadcaster on her latest milestone.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as guests arrived in elegant outfits, exchanging pleasantries and posing for photographs on the red carpet before the commencement of the ceremony.
The launch served not only as the unveiling of a book but also as a celebration of resilience, growth, and the remarkable journey of one of Ghana’s most respected female media personalities.

Among the notable guests were media personalities Tima Kumkum and actress Nayas, as well as comedian Warris, and others who added colour and excitement to the occasion.
The music fraternity was strongly represented by celebrated artistes including Okyeame Kwame, Akosua Agyapong, Ras Kuuku, Philipa Baafi, Samuel Owusu, Jay Ghartey, Grace Ashy, and Kofi Sarpong, among others.

The political class was also present, with Seth Emmanuel Terkper, Economic Adviser to President John Dramani Mahama and former Minister for Finance, joining the gathering to honour DJ Ohemaa Woyeje’s achievement.
The launch featured speeches, goodwill messages, and heartfelt tributes from friends, colleagues, and admirers who spoke about DJ Ohemaa Woyeje’s dedication to her craft, resilience in the face of challenges, and positive influence on many young people, particularly women pursuing careers in the media industry.
