The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Maame Efua Houadjeto, saw her match prediction come to pass as Ghana defeated Panama 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Speaking before the game, Houadjeto had tipped Ghana to win 1-0. At the final whistle, she expressed utmost joy at the result, adding that she “loved the substitution” that sealed the victory.

Houadjeto watched the highly anticipated match at Independence Square alongside the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Obenewaa Ocloo, joining hundreds of fans at the public viewing event.

The GTA, in a Facebook post, described the night as “marked by vibrant celebrations,” noting that the Mayor of Accra, Michael Kpakpo Allotey, was also present and “in full swing, engaging actively with the festivities.”
