Lil Win, has backed away from his earlier threat to divorce his wife following Ghana’s latest result at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Kumawood star had previously vowed to divorce his wife if the Black Stars failed to meet his expectations during the tournament. However, after Ghana’s goalless draw against England, Lil Win says his wife is no longer at risk of losing her marriage, at least for now.
Speaking in a video, Lil Win explained that the draw was enough to keep his promise on hold.
“I won’t divorce my wife again because it was a draw. I will put my wife on again on the next match, Ghana vs Croatia. If Ghana doesn’t win, I will divorce my wife,” he said.
He added that his original prediction required Ghana to secure two wins and one draw, and since the match against England ended in a stalemate, his wife remains “safe.”
“I said two wins and one draw, but it was a draw between Ghana and England, so my wife is safe,” Lil Win stated.
