The Ghana Police Service has celebrated Detective Lance Corporal Confidence Tetteh of the Cybercrime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after been adjudged the Overall Best Level 400 Student in her programme at the University of Cape Coast.
D/L/Cpl Tetteh is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Behaviour and Conflict Management at the College of Distance Education.
She achieved this feat with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.8229 for the 2025/2026 academic year, earning her the maiden Provost’s Award, a first in the history of the programme.
Her performance earned her the maiden Provost’s Award — the first time the award has been given in the history of the programme.
In a statement, the Police Service stated that Detective Tetteh has demonstrated that service to the nation and academic brilliance can go hand in hand.
“From tackling cybercrime to topping her class, Detective Tetteh embodies the spirit of the modern Ghanaian police officer — sharp, disciplined, and committed to continuous growth. We celebrate her dedication and congratulate her on this remarkable achievement.”
