The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched an urgent humanitarian response to support communities in Ghana affected by recent floods under the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The intervention is being coordinated through the UAE Aid Agency and targets thousands of families displaced or impacted by the flooding.
According to a statement by ‘The UAE Times’, essential food supplies and shelter materials are being delivered to affected households as part of the relief effort.
The UAE said the support reinforces its commitment to global humanitarian relief and disaster response and aims to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable communities facing hardship due to the floods.
