The Perez Chapel International has debunked claims that their founder, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has received loans from the collapsed First Trust Savings and Loans Company and the GN Bank.

A statement from the Administrative Bishop of the church, Apostle Raymond Acquah, said the information being carried by some news portals and social media is ridiculous and misleading.

“The allegation is a complete fabrication and is therefore false”, the statement read.

This comes two days after the Bishop blamed some political leaders for the collapse of some Ghanaian industries and firms.

Although the statement acknowledged that Bishop Agyinasare was one time a Board Chair of the First Trust Savings and Loans Company, the Bishop neither applied for nor receive a loan from the Company before, during and after his tenure.

The statement also said that neither Bishop Agyinasare nor his church ever took a loan from the GN Bank as well.

The church therefore asked the general public and the media to disregard such false allegations.
