Award-winning hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, has advised people who are fond of showing off with flashy cars, to invest their monies into profitable ventures that would benefit them and generations to come.

Kwaw Kese, in a video circulated on Facebook, said young people should do well to invest instead of living in rented apartments [while they don’t own a house] and spending their money on flashy cars.

He also recounted how he bought a car worth $20,000 in 2008 but later realised how worthless it was. He said he could have invested that money in a lucrative business which could have fetched him a lot of money by now.

He said owning a car in America is ‘nothing’ therefore, he doesn’t see the need for Ghanaians to make a fuss about cars.

The ‘Dondo hitmaker’ said that most musicians make money through performances and streams. He, however, stated that streams are not enough to afford a car.

”Streams are good but you need something to add up because streams alone can’t buy you Bentley.”

He, therefore, advised Ghanaians to focus on the future and not only think about today.
