Devote full commitment to your core mandates and stop chasing awards – Mahama tells appointees

A Kwadaso-based political pressure group, Nuamah Ladies, has maintained that the failure of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates at Kwadaso Constituency in the Ashanti region to re-elect Dr Samiu Nuamah will affect developmental projects in the area.

Dr Nuamah, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kwadaso,  lost the primary to Dr Kingsley Nyarko with 172 votes against 158 with a third contender, Vincent Frimpong Manu polling just 42 votes.

Leader of the Nuamah Ladies Lukaya Abubakari Adam told Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo that  Kwadaso Constituency has benefited from the national cake due to the lobbying skills of the MP, S.K Nuamah.

“Majority of the constituents are not happy about the delegates decision but nothing can be done about it. Kwadaso Constituency has received massive developmental projects under the leadership of Dr S.K Nuamah. All the delegates who voted against Hon S. K. Nuamah have regretted but it is too late,” she said.

“Hon S.K. Nuamah is a versatile MP and we will continue to remember him, his developmental projects. We will continue to support him and the entire Kwadaso constituents are grateful to him for his developmental agenda”.

She made this known when the Nuamah Ladies surprised Dr S. K. Nuamah at his 43rd birthday anniversary.
