The Bodwesango Police Command has arrested 50-year-old woman Grace and his 12-year-old son Kwadwo Acquah who stabbed his 60-year-old father to death at Adansi Pipiiso in the Fomena District of the Ashanti Region.
The unfortunate incident happened on Sunday August 9, 2020 when the father allegedly accused his son of stealing GHC70 which sparked misunderstanding between the deceased and his son.
The boy who was angry inflicted machete wounds on his deceased father for accusing him of stealing the money.
Fomena District Police Commander, Superintendent Albert Nii Otchere speaking in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo said the woman and her son reported themselves to the Bodwesango Police Command after running away from the community after the incident.
