The Chairman of the Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng has been awarded the Young Professional Role Model in Business and Finance Excellence in Ghana award.
The award which was presented to him at the 11th MTN Pulse Young Professionals Transformational Leadership Conference and Young Professionals Role Model Awards 2020 is to celebrate his contribution to the country’s economy over the years.
The celebrated business mogul owns a chain of businesses spanning various sectors of the economy.
“Your contribution to boosting economic growth and development stands you out as an industry player committed to projecting Ghana as a friendly investment destination,” a citation read in his honour read in part.
The citation further congratulated him for ‘consistently given visibility and mileage to the Country at the international state’ and serving notice of Ghana’s readiness to compete with the global best.
These achievements, the governing council of the YPYC said are enough to qualify him as a Young Professional Role Model in Business Excellence.
This honour adds to his treasure box of medals, plaques and trophies in recognition of his longstanding efforts in touching lives and shaping society, both home and abroad.
