Former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, restated his preparedness to defend the Constitutional interest of the country on matters relating corruption.
“The heavens come down. I will defend the Constitution against suspected corruption and ensure that corruption is made a high-risk enterprise with the last drop of my blood,” Mr. Amidu wrote in a 25-page response to a reply from the President’s Office following his resignation from the office.
He also described as “fundamental lies and falsified propaganda”, a number of the issues contained in the letter signed by Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante.
