Former Serbian gaffer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kosta Papic, has been re-appointed as the head coach of the club, Angel FM Sports understands.

The 60-year-old master tactician who has been in Ghana for days, would also double as the director of football of the continental club masters after fruitful negotiations.

Kosta Papic, coming in with much experience on the African continent, will be hugely expected to guide the Phobians to their glory days by replicating his 2008-09 Ghana Premier League triumph.

The Phobians, who seem unsatisfied with the tactical prowess of Coach Edward Nii Odoom following his poor start of the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana premier league season, decided to terminate the contract Odoom.

Papic will be assisted by ex-Berekum Chelsea boss, Asare Bediako whilst disappointed Edward Nii Odoom has been relegated to his root, Auroras [U-20 side].

Hearts fans still have fond memories of Papic, whom they nicknamed Clinton due to his striking resemblance to the 42nd US President, for guiding the Phobians to the 2008-09 Ghana Premier League title during his one year contract with the club.

Incidentally, it was the last league title won by Hearts.

The former Young Africans, Chippa United, and Black Leopards tactician will l in the coming days, be officially announced as the newly-appointed Coach of Hearts of Oak.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vincent Odotei Sowah has also been appointed as the Managing Director of the club, replacing Mr. Frederick Moore.
