Former black stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, says he plans to return to Kumasi Asante Kotoko to continue his career.
Speaking Monday on Angel FM Floodlight Sport, Badu disclosed that he will join the backroom staff to show his appreciation to Kotoko for helping him develop his talent.
”When I hang my boot, I will not play for any team in Ghana but I will return to Kotoko as backroom staff. It could be a managerial role or scouting but I will scout talents for the team for free,” he told host, Saddick Adams.
The 2009 U-20 world cup winner joined the Porcupine Warriors on a loan deal from Berekum Arsenal during the 2007/08 season, scoring two goals in 18 games.
The 30-year-old has since had a stint with Udinese, Bursaspor and Hellas Verona.
