Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases have risen to 6,969 as of 5th August 2021, according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service.
Of the active cases, 36 are critical and 87 severe.
Some 409 new cases have recently been confirmed.
The death toll is 874.
Since mid-March 2020, Ghana has recorded a total of 108,226.
Out of that, 100,383 have recovered.
