The Health Directorate of the Greater Accra Region says it will start to administer the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
Amidst the fight to curb the global pandemic, the vaccination of the second dose will be made possible by the receipt of additional doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The vaccines, according to the Greater Accra Regional health directorate would be administer among twenty nine (29) district in the nation’s Capital on August ending till September 4.
A communique from the Directorate indicated that “Persons, 18 years and above who received their first dose from 10th March to 29 March, 2021” would be vaccinated.
It further urged all to go along with their vaccination cards and a valid National ID when it’s due time.
