Ghanaian representative in this year’s Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League, Accra Hearts of Oak, has announced a friendly match with newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions FC.
The encounter is scheduled for Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 15:00GMT and to be hosted at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The game forms part of a preparatory grounds for the reigning GHPL champions in a quest to restore their glory days in continental football.
In a post sighted on the club’s official twitter page, they made known to their fans the friendly game.
Meanwhile, the rainbow club plays Guinean outfit, CI Kamsar in a one-off preliminary rounds of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League seven days after locking horns with Accra Lions.
Coach Samuel Boadu’s men having already played some quite number of friendly matches, will hope to emerge victorious against Accra Lions to gather momentum into next weekend’s CAF Champions League tie.
