The Ghana Football Association has rescheduled the Ghana Premier League Match Day 7 fixture between reigning champions Accra Hearts of Oak and rivals Asante Kotoko.
According to the FA, the decision comes in line with respect to Hearts of Oak 2nd leg fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup play-off tie against Algerian JS Souara on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
In this regard, the game has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium since the team will return to Ghana on Friday two days before the tie.
Hearts of Oak were scheduled to play their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko on Match Day 7 of the Premier League on in the first leg of Ghana’s biggest domestic match pairings.
Moreover, a communique by the association says it would not hesitate to communicate any changes in the date baring any development.
Accra Hearts of Oak heads into the fixture with a 2-0 advantage from the 1st leg and would hope to hang on to qualify for the Group stage of the 2021/22 CAF Confederation Cup.
