Accra Hearts Of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu, has been discharged from the hospital after he suddenly fell sick on the touchlines during a league game Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The technical head was admitted at a hospital in Elmina in the Central Region, during Hearts’ game against Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium.
Boadu according to reports, was suffering from an illness during the game hence could not return to the bench after the first half.
Assistant coach, Hamza Obeng, took charge of the team in the second 45 minutes where they managed to record a 1-0 win courtesy, a Gladson Awako strike.
Taking to the club’s official Twitter account, Hearts of Oak thanked supporters of the club for the love shown during the most difficult time for their head coach.
“We expressed our profound gratitude to our numerous supporters for the concern and love shown to Coach Boadu when he was taken ill during our game against sharks.”
