Black Stars Coach, Milovan Rajevac has named a 30-man squad in his provisional list for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation scheduled for Cameroon, next month.
The announcement was made on Tuesday December 21, 2021 during a press conference at the GFA Headquarters in Accra.

The tournament
The delayed TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations tournament was moved to January 2022 following the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic across the continent whilst retaining the name 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship purposes.
The tournament kick starts on January 9 to February 6, 2022, where 24 countries will battle for the ultimate.
The Black Stars of Ghana will open camp in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 ahead of the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup.
The team will be in the country for a period of three weeks to prepare for the Tournament scheduled for the tournament.
They will play three International friendly matches in Qatar to give Coach Milovan Rajevac the opportunity to assess his squad before submitting a final 23 players to CAF before December 30th for the commencement of the Tournament.
Ghana is expected to play a yet-to-be-named club side on Tuesday, December 28, before taking on one of the Africa Cup of Nations qualified teams on Friday, January 1, 2022, in another friendly.
The team will then wrap up their test matches against African Champions Algeria on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Ghana is drawn in Group C with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
The four time African champions will hope to end the 40 year wait for the Africa Cup of Nations trophy having last won the Tournament in Libya in 1982.
