An outbreak of Ebola virus has been confirmed in the Northern Region.
The outbreak was announced by the Northern Regional Disease Control Officer, Fuseini Mahama.
The Public Health Emergency Team has been deployed to contain the spread, the Ghana News Agency (GNA) has reported.
