Four hours of rain in the Greater Accra region on Tuesday morning has left some areas inaccessible leaving some commuters stranded.
The rains which started around 6:00am rendered most parts of the city submerged making movement impossible.
At Teshie Demo, a suburb of Teshie, a bridge linking Teshie-Nungua was cut off in the process following the downpour.
Videos shared on social media showed hundreds of people rendered helpless as a result of the heavy rain and the accompanying floods.
Similarly, at Circle Odawna, the situation was dire as the main road leading to Obra Spot at Kwame Nkrumah Circle was also flooded.
Other areas such as Kaneshie, North Legon, Shiashie, Achimota Spintex, Pokuase, Alajo, and Abossey Okai were affected.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency has since warned the general public to be cautious of the perennial rainfall.
