Ghanaian defender, Alexander Djiku, is expected to arrive in Germany Thursday, July 7, 2022, to finalize his switch from French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
A report sighted by a French media outlet, L’equipe, indicated that the player when he completes his medicals will sign a deal worth around €7 million with the German side.
He is expected to sign four years contract with the team after he had turned down offers from other top clubs including Spanish outfit, Sevilla.
Alexander Djiku has been excellent in the French Ligue 1 with RC Strasbourg for the past two seasons spent.
He helped the team to finish sixth in the just-ended Ligue 1 season where he played 31 league matches and scored one goal.
