Four suspected persons have been remanded in the Central Region for their alleged involvement in a violent land dispute at Gomoa Akramang.
The volent incident reportedly resulted in the death of one person and injury to some others leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The four suspects, include Sumaila Ibrahim, Agbenyegah Kusavi, Kwame Nyarko and Samuel Eson.
They are alleged to have, together with a group from Gomoa Akramang, attacked the deceased and other persons who were working on a disputed piece of land.
Upon their arrest, items including one pump-action gun, cutlasses, two live BB cartridges and three spent BB ammunitions were retrieved from the suspects.
They were arraigned before the Awutu Breku Magistrate Court on Thursday, November 10, 2022, where they have been remanded into police custody and will hence reappear on November 24, 2022.
The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
