The mother of popular Ghanaian actor cum politician John Dumelo has passed on Tuesday, August 16, 2023.
The incident, according to the NDC’s Ayawaso West Wougon parliamentary candidate, happened in Accra, but failed to disclose the cause of the death.
The deceased, Antoinette Ama Ampomah, was born on 5th January 1952 to a Fante mother and an Asante father.
Announcing the death on Facebook on Wednesday, August 16 Mr. Dumelo said his beloved mother, born Antoinette Ama Ampomah joined her ancestors peacefully.
“My heart is broken. My dear mother passed away peacefully yesterday….my number one supporter. Heaven has gained an angel,” he eulogized as he posted.
Madam Antoinette Ama Ampomah until her death, was a retired customs officer.
