Management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has denied publications suggesting that it was contracted by the Volta River Authority (VRA) to undertake a recent fumigation activities in Mepe.
A statement issued on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, by the Communications Directorate of the waste management company said the exercise in Mepe, one of the worst hit communities following spillage of the two power dams in Akosombo and Kpong, formed part of the humanitarian efforts by
Zoomlion and its sister companies in support of the flood victims
It therefore, described the allegations are “baseless and lack any factual basis”.
