A board member of Hearts of Oak, Vincent Odotei Sowah, has shared insights into the off-field successes of the club’s players, revealing that they are on the brink of significant achievements.
Speaking on the sidelines of a press conference organised to give the media into insights into the happenings at the club which led to the subsequent dismissal of former coach, Martin Koopman, Odotei Sowah said the players have been faring well.
He expressed optimism about Hearts of Oak’s trajectory, emphasizing the positive developments in the players’ lives is evident in the kind of lifestyles they have been living lately.
“Everything is in place for the club to be successful. Hearts of Oak players who have not travelled before are building houses, they are buying cars; we look at their welfare.
“I mean, I recall a video that circulated before the season started of Hearts of Oak players arriving at their hostels driving their own cars,” he said.
Interestingly, the board member was silent on the recent on-field performance of the team.
