The Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has appointed a new Vice Chancellor.
Prof (Mrs) Rita Akosua Dickson who is a Professor in Pharmacognosy will replace Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso.
She will be in charge of the running of the University for the next four years (August 1, 2020 to July 31, 2024).
Prof Dickson until her appointment was the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University.
