Rapper, Okyeame Kwame, has described manager of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang, known in the industry as Bullet as someone who has succeeded as an artiste manager than as a rapper.

The member of defunct music group, Ruff and Smooth, he said has achieved more in the industry because artistes managed by him are largely successful.

He therefore warned new artistes who are struggling to succeed in the industry to learn from him and consider other options available to them.

“If you are seeking to be an artiste and it doesn’t work, then you need to come to the realisation that maybe it won’t work. Perhaps, you need to try something else.

He recounted how some members of his extended family members tried to convince his parents to stop him from becoming a rapper.

The rap doctor told host Ohemaa Woyeje that his father however did not give into to their requests and instead encouraged him.

“My father sarcastically told them yes, I want him to feel high…,” he said.

Okyeame Kwame who has since been a ‘Made in Ghana’ Ambassador however advised Ghanaians and all other people seeking to be rappers but are no succeeding to try their hands on something else.
