A sizable number of sympathizers have been trooping to the house of the late former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, aka Sir John, to sign a book of condolence opened in his honour.
Sir John died on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after contracting Covid-19.
Sir John’s house located at America House, East Legon played host to NPP heavy weights like the NPP National Chairman, Freddie Blay; General Secretary, John Boadu; former Defence Minister Kwame Addo Kufuor; and Organizer Sammy Awuku.
They were joined by actor and NPP fanatic, Agya Koo as well as friends of Sir John’s son Yaw Amoaten Afriyie.
